Habitat for Humanity is a not-for-profit global organisation that was founded in the United States in 1976, with the aim to create a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live. In Australia, Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with families, volunteers and corporate partners to build homes and develop sustainable communities for our most vulnerable. As the leading global housing organisation, Habitat for Humanity is transforming lives in more than 70 countries. To date, they have helped more than 13.2 million people obtain stable and secure homes.

TTW staff recently volunteered to assist Habitat for Humanity – donating their time and physical efforts to provide emergency transitional housing for women and children escaping domestic violence. In support of International Women’s Day 2018, the group of ten staff from TTW joined over 100 volunteers to paint, repair, and garden at 2 houses and 3 apartments in the greater Sydney region.

As you can see from the video, not only did the team contribute to important work that will assist approximately 200 women and children over the next few years, they had fun while doing it!
