Exciting news that the Incubator at Macquarie University has received a GREEN GOOD DESIGN Award for 2018, in the Research/Technology category.

Founded in Chicago, the prestigious GREEN GOOD DESIGN awards seek to bestow international recognition to outstanding organisations and products that demonstrate exceptional thinking and inspire greater progress toward a more sustainable world.

The Incubator has been designed and constructed as a world-class display of innovation and sustainability. Built in just 37 days, and designed to be relocatable, the timber structure provides an inspiring new space for students, researchers, staff, entrepreneurs and start-ups.

GREEN GOOD DESIGN received hundreds of submissions from around the world. The jury – members of the European Centre’s International Advisory Committee and worldwide leaders in the design industry – selected over 100 new products, people and programs from 20 nations.

Well done to all the team involved, particularly our TTW structural engineer Brooke Simmons, our façade engineer Rami Khalil, and congratulations to Architectus who were the recipients of this latest accolade. Strongbuild Lipman Pty Ltd
