TTW is excited to work in collaboration with Architecture BVN, SHoP Architects, and Eckersley O’Callaghan on the Structural, Civil, and Facade elements of the soon to be, world’s tallest Timber hybrid building. To be completed by 2025 and attracting 25,000 workers, Atlassian’s new Sydney HQ’s is a groundbreaking global first.

The benchmark design of timber, with a glass and steel facade, includes a mix of outdoor and indoor spaces, and reaches over 40 storeys high.

The project has ambitious targets for Sustainability; 50% less embodied carbon in construction compared to a conventional building. 50% less energy consumption compared with a new conventionally operated building and solar panels in the vertical facades, to generate green power on-site. Also, the building will operate on 100% renewable energy from day one and include solar panels built into the facade. This aligns with Atlassian’s commitment to operate on 100% renewable energy and reach net-zero emissions.
