The Sydney Super Dome (currently known as Qudos Bank Arena) is a large multi-purpose arena designed and constructed for the 2000 Summer Olympic Games. The stadium was designed with the intent of being a world class facility to house some of Australia's great, memorable events. The structure is a single roofed enclosed erection with an innovative flexible expanse of steel and glass. The roof masts reach 42m above ground and in total the stadium occupies a site of 20,000m2.Ranked in the top 10 arenas worldwide, with a total capacity of 21,000 the Super Dome is the largest permanent indoor sports venue in Australia.
