Gadigal Station
A new metro station and Sydney’s first large-scale build-to-rent tower helping shape Sydney’s future. Our involvement included optimisation of the reference scheme, ontime delivery of design to a very short program, optioneering with CPB team to find economical and practical solutions as well as collaboration with three architects, multiple services consultants and two clients.

TTW was engaged during the station tender to provide value engineering in support of AW Edwards successful bid and was subsequently engaged as the Authorised Engineering Organisation (AEO) and temporary works engineer through construction phase. The station has a complex transfer system between the OSD and the station in addition to the many construction challenges involved in an underground station including high single-sided perimeter walls, heavy precast elements, OTE installation. -
Victoria Cross Station
The station cavern is the largest underground structure constructed for the Sydney Metro project, with an excavated length of 265 meters a height of 19 meters, and a span of 26 metres. The primary support of the cavern and adits comprised rock bolts, cable bolts, and a thin synthetic fiber reinforced shotcrete liner. TTW was engaged for the structural design of the reinforced concrete cavern lining.

TTW supported the SSTOM bid for Structures and was then engaged for Façade and Construction Engineering Services. The new 23km railway will link residential areas including the new Bradfield Metro Station, and connect travellers from the new airport to the rest of Sydney’s public transport system. Our scope included; blast engineering of façade for all building, on program delivery of extensive scope across seven sites, successful collaboration and execution of architects' design, and temporary works to speed up the program. - Eastern Tunnelling Package

The Eastern Tunnel Package project involves tunnelling, excavation and construction of 3.5km tunnels under Sydney Harbour between The Bays and Sydney CBD. Our scope of work includes; predicted effects and building assessments across the entire project, tunnel structure design with the city end turnback tunnels, Sydney Water assessments for heritage brick oviform sewers and tank stream, and temporary works engineering. - Central Station

Our Façade and Blast Engineering scope covered the feature glazed element across the new metro station including the Balustrades, wind screens, glazed lift shafts, feature roof skylights, and glazed louvres.
