The centrepiece of the $1.7 billion transformation of the Melbourne Art Precinct, The Fox: NGV Contemporary is set to become Australia’s largest gallery dedicated to contemporary art and design.

Led by Architecture firm, Angelo Candalepas and Associates, the facility will consist of 13,000sqm of space for exhibition galleries, a rooftop terrace and sculpture garden.

With a 40-metre-high spherical central gallery and spiralling walkway guiding visitors through the spaces, the building will deliver creative excellence inside and out. The spectacular dual-levelled roof top terrace will boast expansive views of Melbourne’s CBD, parklands, and the Yarra Ranges. The building’s eastern façade will be open to the new 18,000sqm public urban garden.

TTW is proud to be engaged on this once-in-a-lifetime project.
