Traffic review of the gateway to Western Port
Hastings is one of the three major activity centres of the Mornington Peninsula and considered the "gateway to Western Port". We performed a detailed review of existing traffic and parking to facilitate functional improvements to the streetscape of the High St area.
TTW services extended to include:
- Detailed car park inventory and duration surveying and reporting
- Development of a proposed car parking offset strategy to reduce on-street parking
- Traffic Engineering reporting on existing public transport, traffic management, traffic flow, pedestrian linkages, and identification of opportunities and constraints
- Vehicle access analysis and engineering input for functional alignment
