Seven time award winning facility for the Bankstown community

The new Library and Knowledge Centre, commissioned by the Bankstown City Council, has transformed the existing Bankstown Town Hall to an integrated, flexible, state of the art community hub and it has become a new iconic public building in the heart of Bankstown. The redevelopment includes demolition of the existing auditorium and construction a new library of three storeys including an outdoor reading garden and a new aquatic sculpture garden; renovation of the existing Town Hall to become a 300-seat theatre, conference facilities and cafeteria.
