A new mental health facility at the prestigious Albert Road Clinic in Melbourne

The Albert Road Clinic is a mental health unit extension for the existing facility - providing an additional 60 ward rooms, outdoor terraces, therapy rooms, patient lounges, and two levels of carpark spaces. The new building consists of four suspended concrete floors and basement carpark, utilising post-tensioned slabs, with in-situ, AFS and precast concrete walls as lateral stability elements. Two suspended steel link bridges connect the new structure to the existing Albert Road Clinic.
