In this role, you will:

    • Work on simple projects or sections of projects; working towards assuming responsibility for sections of projects
    • Use standard engineering techniques for the purpose of solving problems
    • Assist senior engineers with analysis of information, production of designs and calculations
    • Prepare calculations and analysis of building structures
    • Assist with preparation of specifications, fee proposals, reports and other documentation under close supervision
    • Liaise and coordinate with builders, architects and services engineers on design issues under supervision of a senior engineer

     

    Who are we looking for?

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
    • Graduate membership with Engineers Australia
    • Understanding of BCA and relevant Australian Standards
    • 0-3 years of structural engineering experience
    • Ability to apply theoretical knowledge of engineering principles to practical situations through analysis and interpretation.
    • Problem solving/analytical skills
