The Redland Hospital Expansion will increase and expand healthcare services for the Redlands Coast community.
The Redland Hospital Expansion will deliver:
• A new Intensive Care Unit
• Refurbishment of a number of existing areas in the hospital
• Additional beds to increase hospital capacity.
The Redland Hospital Expansion will increase bed capacity so that more patients can receive healthcare.
This will help ease pressure on the emergency department and increase Redland Hospital’s capacity to care for patients who need to stay overnight, such as those needing surgery.
The new intensive care unit will mean that patients who require critical care and/or life support can be cared for at Redland Hospital. This means less patients will need to be transferred to other hospitals.
