Due to up-coming and on-going projects we are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer with Hydraulic modelling experience to join our North Sydney office.  Your role will be to provide technical expertise on a wide variety of public and private sector projects.  This position offers exposure to a landmark projects and excellent career progression opportunities. 


The ideal candidate for this role will have 5 to 8+ years' experience. Previous exposure to major campus developments in a multi-disciplinary team is highly regarded. Technical expertise in stormwater (including water quality and OSD), external levels, pavements, and external service coordination would be favourably considered.


As the successful candidate you will have/be able to:

  • Complete hydrological and flood modelling assessments, including the use of a range of modelling software packages
  • Hands on experience with TUFLOW, DRAINS, Music and AR&R 2016 procedures
  • A minimum 5 years hydraulic modelling experience in Australia
  • Prepare flood modelling inputs to flood mapping
  • Undertake spatial analysis to support data analysis and preparation of results 
  • Contribute to project planning and ensure projects are delivered within program and budget  
  • Produce designs, documentation, specifications, fee proposals, reports, and other documentation to meet client requirements for projects of reasonable complexity under the guidance of senior staff  
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • The ability to manage medium to large scale projects
  • The ability to mentor, guide, and train younger professionals in the civil group
  • Liaise and coordinate with builders, architects, and services engineers on design issues 
  • Ensure compliance with applicable Codes and policies – e.g., WHS practices and Quality Assurance
