Why did you become a project manager?
I started my working life training to become a draftsman. Over time and a few CAD systems later, that profession has morphed into a role in managing projects through their various phases of concept design, design, and construction – working with clients, architects, builders and other TTW staff to find the best outcomes for each project.
How has your role of project manager evolved at TTW?
The age we live in requires me to act quickly to the needs of our clients; it’s important that as a company we rely on our experience but also are adaptive to new methods and new technologies. My role also extends to mentoring the evolving generation and the future leaders of TTW.
You’ve been at TTW for over two decades – what do you think makes TTW so successful?
The philosophy is still the same – we work on projects that are bespoke, that challenge our creative thinking as engineers and require us to constantly learn more about technology, materials or industry trends. TTW has been a major player in the industry for over 58 years and we continue to work on projects from almost every sector.

Words of wisdom to your younger self?
Don’t let others make you conform to something you don’t want to become. Everyone has their own gifts and qualities so don’t be afraid to develop and use them.
