Due to upcoming and on-going projects, we have a Civil / Flood Engineering role in our Sydney office. As a Civil / Flood Engineer, your role will be to provide technical expertise on a wide variety of large public and private sector projects. This position offers exposure to a number of landmark projects and excellent career progression opportunities.
The ideal candidate for this role will have 5 years’ plus experience. Previous exposure to major campus developments in a multi-disciplinary team is a must. Expertise in flood analysis, water quality solutions, retention and external service coordination would be favourably considered.
As the successful candidate you will have:
- 5 – 10 years’ experience
- An Australian tertiary engineering qualification or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience with DRAINs, TuFLOW, Music, 12D, RAFTS, Mapinfo, Navisworks and AR&R 2016 procedures
- The ability to communicate well with senior management, authorities and clients;
- Excellent report writing skills;
- A sound understanding of the regulatory requirements for significant state developments; and
- The ability to manage the workload of multiple projects;
- Commitment to self-improvement and continuing professional development.
