I have worked with Ross and the Canberra TTW team on a complex multi-disciplinary program of works. TTW was the stand-out consultant for performance, quality, and reliability. TTW commitments were always met on time and to the level of completeness expected. This is rare in consultants in 2018. I would unreservedly recommend TTW for the professional, reliable and collaborative approach they apply in the delivery of their services.

Ross is the Director in charge of the Canberra office. With over twenty years of experience, Ross has a deep understanding of the construction landscape and is intuitive to changes in clients’ needs and expectations.

His commercial and collaborative approach has driven success for the studio and has developed significant long-standing client relationships. He has inspired client confidence with an ability to find solutions from concept through to design, and this has resulted in a steady pipeline of projects from return clients.

Recognising great design and finding engineering solutions to large-scale complex structures time and time again, Ross has developed an extensive portfolio. Ross inspires action from his team, from exemplifying a passion for engineering excellence, to an honest and collaborative approach and enjoyment from producing great design.

What is it about the industry/engineering that keeps you motivated and engaged?

During my career the engineering office has moved from being an almost analogue environment to an essentially digital one. Those advancements in technology and software constantly influence and change the way we work, communicate and collaborate with our colleagues keeping creativity fresh and breaking down the boundaries we imagined in the past. Engineering has never been more diverse or interesting.

In your perspective, what trends is the construction industry experiencing or expecting in the next few years?

The trend towards the greater implementation of BIM and the integration of design and BIM are some of the most comprehensive changes the industry has faced. The challenge is to extract maximum benefit through increased accuracy and efficiency.
