Associate Director, Nemesio Biason joined TTW in 2004 as highly technical civil engineer. He has detailed knowledge of construction projects which spans across commercial, retail, residential, industrial, educational, healthcare and public buildings. Including experience with legal expert witness, water sensitive urban design, stormwater design, flood study, earthworks, pavement and masterplanning.


    He brings a practical and adaptive approach to his work, understanding that every project is unique and requires a responsive and collaborative solution. He has a strong network of clients and works cohesively with architect, client and contractors.


    Why did you become an engineer?


    I always enjoyed crunching numbers, with a strong drive to solve any challenges when I was growing up. I was also fascinated by how engineering infrastructures are designed and constructed. So Engineering was a natural choice for me.

    Best thing about being an engineer?


    Being an engineer has given me a chance to work with people who have the desire to facilitate outstanding outcomes for every project, benefiting the urban environment and communities.


    I enjoy working collaboratively with clients, project managers, architects, builders, and sharing the same goal in delivering projects of design excellence and innovation. Being an engineer has given me the opportunity to be involved in all stages of projects, from the initial calculations through to the construction and commissioning phases. I have been blessed to have worked on a wide array of building and infrastructures projects while working at TTW including, the award-winning and landmark projects Wynyard Walk, Orange Museum and Anzac War Memorial Centenary Project in Hyde Park.


    What is it about the industry that motivates you?


    It motivates me to see the engineering and construction industry thriving in its ability to meet clients and community expectations despite working in highly-constrained time and financial parameters, and yet still delivering high-end and innovative projects.
