Mark joined TTW in 1987 as an apprentice drafter and has expanded his role into team leadership and project management, and now Associate Director. Mark’s technical abilities and communication skills have contributed to the success of many significant medium to large-scale projects.


    He relishes the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, and is excited by new challenges. Mark enjoys liaising with clients and stakeholders, working in a collaborative team and seeing complex structural designs come to life.

    What is it about the industry that motivates you?


    The large-scale projects that we complete are motivational – the size, scale and variety keeps it interesting and challenging. The recent heritage work is appealing – seeing an historical building revitalised and a contemporary building emerge.


    What does your role involve at TTW?


    Drafting models for projects. As a project leader, I liaise with Directors and project team members, and assist with the internal management of drafters within my project group. Key focus is to establish effective communication with staff and clients. I’m also involved in staff training. I run medium to large-
