Colin is a passionate structural engineer with over 8 years of experience in a mixture of both construction and design. He possesses strong technical knowledge as well as a thorough grasp of how structures are constructed. Colin has worked in various sectors throughout the years, from mining in Western Australia, tall buildings in the UK, infrastructure in New Zealand to a mixture of all the above here in Sydney. Colin is currently part of a growing Construction Engineering team at TTW, leading a team on several Sydney Metro sites.




    What do you enjoy about engineering?


    I enjoy the day-to-day problem solving that we are faced with each day. The coordinated effort from our team to help the guys on site construct important structures safely and as efficiently as possible challenges us to produce an innovative and adaptable idea that is buildable.



    What is the best thing about being a part of the TTW team?


    To me, the team is the most important thing about working in construction! I know my strengths and weaknesses, and (thankfully) at TTW, there are plenty of highly knowledgeable and approachable people to provide the information I am looking for.





    What is it about the industry that motivates you?


    I am currently motivated by the type of work involved in the large-scale projects we have currently in construction and the prospects for similar future projects. The major infrastructure push in Sydney and the associated opportunities for TTW Construction Engineering is exciting for me and, more importantly, our team’s growth
