Joining TTW in 2008, Christie brings an intelligent, robust and design-focused approach to his work. He is involved from the outset of a project, working with clients to design practical, and environmentally sustainable solutions. Christie makes a significant contribution to the local market in Canberra where he is passionate about creating landmark facilities for the region.

    What do you enjoy about engineering?

    The variety – I have the opportunity to be involved in crafting solutions for complex and unique problems. I enjoy meeting and working with so many different people, and I still have the opportunity to get out of the office and see our projects being constructed. Being based in Canberra, I still get excited about working on local projects that improve urban spaces, existing infrastructure and enhance or create landmark facilities for the benefit of our community and visitors.

    Best thing about being an engineer?

    Definitely the variety of the work. No two days are the same. I am involved in many different types of projects, each with their own challenges. I also have the opportunity to work outside in the field, and to meet with a wide array of people.

    What do you enjoy about engineering?

    I am looking forward to the continued growth of TTW projects in the region – focusing on developing client relationships, and winning interesting jobs that benefit the community and environment. Our aim is to achieve great project outcomes while continuing to expand TTW’s civil-based capabilities in Canberra.
