In this role, you will:
- Take ownership of planning and managing resources for small to medium-sized projects or key parts of larger projects
- Apply deep engineering knowledge to design and deliver smart solutions
- Collaborate closely with senior staff to tackle complex problems with innovative thinking
- Prepare high-quality designs, documentation, specifications, reports, and fee proposals
- Ensure deliverables align with client requirements and project timelines
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Membership with Engineers Australia (required)
- CPEng / NER accreditation
- 2–3 years of experience in structural engineering
- Strong knowledge of the BCA and relevant Australian Standards
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to clearly communicate complex information to a variety of stakeholders
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and structural design software
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment but can also work independently
