You will:

  • Assumes responsibility for the management of small, medium and some large-scale projects including duties such as pricing, tender submissions, technical documentation, project scheduling and meeting deadlines and budgets.
  • Applies a deep understanding of engineering principles to devise and deliver practical and economical solutions to problems.
  • Produces designs, documentation, specifications, fee proposals, reports and other documentation to meet client requirements for projects of reasonable complexity.
  • Undertake condition assessments of structures and to develop high quality inspection reports and repair specifications.
  • Preparation of client reports.
  • Liaises with less senior engineers and drafters to enable preparation of structural documentation.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with clients.

About you:

This role is ideally suited to someone with:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • Membership with Engineers Australia (required)
  • CPEng / NER
  • Spacegass, ETABS, Rapt
  • Strong background in structural / remedial engineering; nominally 2-6 years’ experience.
  • Problem solving/analytical skills.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate information of a more complex nature.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills.
  • Enjoy problem solving and is a fast learner.
