As a Civil (Flood) Engineer, your role will be to provide technical expertise on a wide variety of large public and private sector projects.  This position offers exposure to a number of landmark projects and excellent career progression opportunities.

The ideal candidate for this role will have 5+ years of experience.  Previous exposure to major developments in a multi-disciplinary team is a must along with experience with 2d flood analysis.  Stormwater design, water quality solutions and external service coordination would also be favourably considered.

  • 5 – 10 years’ experience
  • An Australian tertiary engineering qualification or equivalent.
  • Hands on experience with TUFLOW is essential and the following experience is favourable; Mapinfo/QGIS, DRAINS, MUSIC, 12D/C3D, RAFTS, HEC-RAS and AR&R 2016 procedures
  • The ability to proactively communicate with other team members, senior management, authorities and clients;
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills;
  • A sound understanding of the regulatory requirements for state significant developments;
  • The ability to self-manage the workload of multiple projects to specific deadlines;
  • Commitment to self-improvement and continuing professional development.
