We are looking for a creative and innovative person to join the TTW Advance team to create and deliver innovative BIM workflows and solutions for use by TTW drafters and provide technical support on the use of Revit to the drafting teams. 

 

Your Main Responsibilities

  • R&D: Research and implement advanced BIM workflows, in-house and 3rd party software on Revit projects to improve modelling and drafting productivity.
  • Dynamo and API: Develop, maintain and test Dynamo/Revit API scripts for improved productivity and quality in engineering software.
  • BIM Coordination: Liaise with engineers and architects on the preparation and coordination of documentation (using collaboration tools such as ACC, Autodesk Issues, Revizto, BIM Track).
  • Document Control: Support and automate project document control (internal and client side).
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor QA systems (for both documentation and models) by developing and maintaining in-house software.
  • Troubleshooting and helpdesk: Assist drafters with complex modelling on projects and technical support.
  • Project Management: Communicate relevant project information to the project leaders/project team, where required.
  • Training: Develop and provide training relating to our productivity tools and BIM software to drafters and engineers.

 

About You

Essential requirements

  • Relevant qualification in Engineering or Drafting, or equivalent
  • At least 2 years’ experience as an engineer or drafter
  • Proven record in solving complex, multi-disciplinary problems with excellent analytical thinking skills
  • High interest in BIM technologies and Revit
  • Strong sense of commitment and willingness to learn or improve your programming skills
  • Basic understanding of engineering principles and application to real world problems
  • Proactive commitment to on-going learning and maintaining industry awareness
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated project management skills to deliver on time, on budget and to client requirements

These are an added bonus!

  • Experience in various programming language (e.g., C#, VB.Net, Python)
  • Experience with parametric design platforms (e.g. Dynamo, Grasshopper, Generative Components)
  • Experience in Revit API and Rhino.Inside.Revit
  • Experience in BIM360
  • Ability to develop complex Revit Families
  • Understanding of the processes of design and construction
  • Hands on Drafting and Detailing experience
