Joining TTW in 1998, Kelvin has acquired a reputable portfolio of projects across a spectrum of industries. He is involved in a project from the outset, building strong relationships with clients and collaborating with internal structural, facade and traffic teams. He has broad experience across all areas of civil engineering and is perseverant in achieving practical and environmentally responsive solutions.

What in particular do you enjoy about Civil?

It’s very satisfying to see the finished product being used and enjoyed.

What does your role involve at TTW?

Production of hi-tech civil designs that involve innovative processes and designs.

What three projects have shaped your career and why?

  • La Perouse Headland Loop Road was a project that had all the challenges:Aboriginal and European heritage, services, road works, corrosion issues,vandalism, tourism, heavy vehicles, and resident action groups.
  • Royal Prince Alfred Hospital redevelopment took a decade to complete, and was an illustration of the importance of maintaining relationships between client/consultant/builder – and the need to be patient.
  • Plough and Harrow Park – design it properly, design it once.
  • What are you looking forward to at TTW?

    Some exciting projects coming to fruition after a lot of hard work.
